This was honestly one of the best weekends away we have been on! We stopped in the Spindle lodge for a long weekend and had one of the most amazing times. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the quick response from the staff when enquiring about our dog before our stay. The lodge itself was immaculately clean and so homely. The kitchen was also supplied with everything you could possibly need even to a dishwasher which was a nice surprise after preparing myself to wash the pots for the weeked! The only thing i would reccomend putting in the kitchen would be a pizza cutter and an extra frying pan but this did not affect our stay what so over. The little hamper was a lovely touch to the stay providing croissants, bread, tea and coffee, jam and butter amongst other things and a little carton of milk in the fridge. Along with this, we were also provided with a little bag of dog treats which went down with our dog wonderfully! The outside area was beautiful and so relaxing we particularly enjoyed the fence next to the hot tub where you can look out over the lakes or close it for a bit more privacy. It was secure for enough for our big dog and he loved having that bit of room to run around freely. There is plenty of dog walks nearby one being right beside the enterance and others a short walk/ drive away. We took a walk around the village where there was plenty of pubs to stop and have a meal in which we would have done if not bringing the dog. Overall our stay here was amazing and me and my partner are already looking to come back the atmosphere was so peaceful and we had a great experiance! ( a little recommendation for anyone bringing a dog with them we took ours to pawprint dog park £10 for an hour and he had a great time. It was a 2 minute drive down the road as well! )

Me & my husband stayed in Juniper Lodge for a long weekend (24-27th October) for my birthday and had the BEST weekend. Steam Mill Lodges are clean, well maintained, quiet & peaceful and have everything you need for a relaxing few days away. The hot tub was amazing and private and our lodge even had a pool table which was an added bonus. We were sad to leave after the most relaxing weekend away but will definitely be booking to return although we can’t decide which lodge we want to book into next. Maybe we will make our way through them all!! Will recommend Steam Mill Lodges to everyone as it’s so lovely and a perfect place to escape everyday, busy lives.

My partner and I had a wonderful time in the Rowan lodge as a mini break off work. The views were stunning and so was the snow! The lodge itself was extremely cozy and kept us warm despite the cold outside. We added the fire package which also added to the coziness! The hot tub was lovely to relax in after a stroll around the local villages and shops. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and great value too!

Everything was perfect! We stayed in Maple with our doggo, Loki. Everything that we needed was there on arrival waiting for us and the lodge was really clean. Self check in was quick and easy. Bumped into the maintenance man a few times who was really nice. Loki took a liking to him! Great views. Lots of nice walks nearby. If you want a nice Chinese - Lucky Dragon is stunning - best salt and pepper chips ever! The Greyhound was gorgeous for a lovely pub meal or a carvery. Great stay overall, highly reccomend.

Lovely 3 night stay celebrating a Birthday and a Promotion. We stayed in Buttercup Lodge - spotless and had everything we needed. Views were breathtaking - sat in the hot tub overlooking the lake with a drink - heaven. Owner response to questions was fast and helpful. Hoping to return to try another Lodge in the summer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Perfect Getaway! We had the most amazing stay at this lodge — it was pure relaxation from start to finish! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfectly clean, warm, and the ideal spot to unwind under the stars with a glass of wine. The setting was peaceful and private, surrounded by nature, yet still close enough to local shops and walks. You can tell the hosts have thought of every little detail — from fluffy robes and soft towels to thoughtful touches that made it feel like a luxury retreat. We left feeling completely recharged and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a cozy, romantic escape or just a weekend of total tranquility, this lodge is an absolute gem!

Had the most amazing time 3 nights away here. Staff were lovely and so happy to help. The accommodation was lovely enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. They even had the local balloon shop decorate the lodge for an extra special surprise for me.

Fantastic weekend!! Just come back from staying in Rowan lodge my husband booked it for my 40th birthday. what can I say it was so relaxing, views were beautiful. Lodge was lovely and modern and clean, he surprised me with the extra romantic decor which was beautiful to walk into. Hot tub was lovely and warm despite it being cold outside. We had the robes clean and smelt lovely. I was a little jealous of the ones with the pool table think that's a great idea. The only down side of Rowan lodge is when your in the hot tub any one coming or going from Hazel lodge could see you. We Will definitely be returning to try out one of the other lodges with a sauna and pool table. Thank you for a lovely stress free stay and doing the fine details to make it a couples retreat!
